Youth and Food: New Entrepreneurs in the Food Systems

This chapter discusses new sustainability careers in the agri-food sector, including robotics, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and genomics. Current educational systems do not prepare students for these fields. Massari discusses the world’s first “eating designer,” one of these new knowledgeable professions. one jobs are reinvented or emerging as well. Food activists were able to impact how people think about food and how people eat, but in the future will impact food choice and policy.
