The evolution of the global middle class

The middle class which used to be a concept that was only relevant to a few countries in North America and in Europe has really shifted dramatically today to Asia. And that change in the composition of the middle class has big implications for how we address future issues of aging populations, climate change, globalization, automation, and indeed of our politics.
