Tackling inequality

We can think about public policy interventions in three phases. The first phase is how we make sure that every child is able to perform up to their full potential, making sure that they have adequate nutrition and early child development programs. After that, we also need to make sure that we have a certain degree of equality and fairness in labor markets. And then finally, we have to think about, well, what about all those people who aren't in the labor force at all?
