Introducing SDG 3: Good health and well-being

Different challenges related to health and well-being, as well as health-related inequalities are prevalent in all nations and regions. SDG 3 focuses on issues ranging from narcotic drug abuse and road traffic accidents to the need to increase resources for the global health work-force. It includes targets such as achieving universal health coverage and ending preventable deaths of new-borns and children under 5 years of age.
