Since 2016, the Impact Management Project has convened over 2000 enterprises and investors to build a shared understanding on how we talk about, measure and manage the impact. This global consensus, also known as norms of impact management, form the basis for enterprises and investors to understand their impact, reduce the negative and increase the positive. The basis of the impact management norms is founded in the concept that impact can be measured across five dimensions:
(i) What, (ii) Who, (iii) How much, (iv) Contribution, and (v) Risk
