Good Governance and the SDGs

Jeffrey Sachs discusses the importance of global cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. In particular, he notes that cities have a critical role in pioneering sustainable development planning to collectively contribute to the ambition of sustainable development. Efficiently disseminating the necessary technologies, knowledge, and best practices in different sectors and mobilizing financing are fundamental for the achievement of the goals. Both rely heavily on global cooperation and the effective deployment of public-private partnerships.
