SDG Pathways: The Case of Deep Decarbonization

This chapter provides a case study on deep decarbonization to display the value of back-casting. In particular, Professor Sachs presents the work of SDSN's Deep Decarbonization Pathways Project. The overview of the project represents how scenario-building based on back-casting can be an effective way to achieve goals. The US northeast is the geographic focus.
