Need for Investment

In order to achieve that broad kind of investment, we need contributions from all major sectors of society. Government, for example, has a huge role to play; without government investment in infrastructure, it's not going to get done. Without government ensuring quality public education, it's not going to happen, and without government protecting the natural environment, the natural capital is going to be depleted rather than preserved or built. But the private sector is also key. There will be no economic development or sustainable development if private sector companies do not seek profits and value, economic growth, and market growth.
