Introducing Impact Investing

Impact investing refers to investing with the intention to generate and measure social and environmental benefits alongside a financial return. Impact investors intend to have a social impact, environmental impact, or both, use evidence and available data to drive investment design, manage investments towards the intended impact through measures such as establishing feedback loops and communication of performance, and investors with credible impact investing practices use shared industry terms, conventions, and indicators.
