Development Assistance

In this chapter, Professor Sachs discusses the somewhat-controversial topic of development aid, which is central to SDG 17. He analyzes the aid commitment targets of many developed countries, as well as how they are performing in terms of aid. He discusses the financing that would be necessary to achieve the SDGs.
